High School Transition
When an Eastford Elementary student begins to think about high school, there are a number of options to consider. Each offers something different to the student, so it is important that our 8th graders consider each high school carefully and choose the one that best fits the needs of the student. Students have the option to attend one of the following schools:
Woodstock Academy, Woodstock, CT
ACT Performance Arts Magnet School, Willimantic, CT
Ellis Technical High School, Danielson, CT
Quinebaug Middle College, Danielson, CT
*Edwin O. Smith High School, Storrs, CT 
Killingly High School Agriculture Program, Dayville, CT 
*Please note transportation is not provided for these schools. Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation to and from those schools. To attend these schools, students must obtain permission from the Superintendent of Eastford prior to March 1 of the year they plan to attend; Different schools have different application processes and the Eastford Board of Education reserves the right to not approve attendance at schools other than those that we maintain a contract with.
